Grady and Clara met in the spring of 2025 during a BYU study abroad program in Spain. They stayed in touch after returning home and began dating shortly after.

Both had recently finished serving full-time missions, Grady in the Buenos Aires South Mission and Clara in the Salt Lake City West Mission. Grady is studying Construction Management and working toward his HVACR technician license, and Clara is studying Communications at BYU.

On March 18th, 2026, Grady proposed in Hawaii, and Clara said yes.

After the wedding, the two will honeymoon in Spain, returning to the country where it all started, before settling in Provo to finish their degrees and build their life together.
